NOTES: Built between 1955 and 1962, this mixed high-density housing development was planned and designed by Sheffield Corporation City Architect's Department led by J. L. Womersley. Located in the hitherto rural Gleadless Valley, the estate was divided into three neighbourhoods, Hemsworth to the west, Herdings to the south and Rollerstone to the east.
