SOURCE: Giovanni Battista Piranesi. Vedute di Roma (Rome, [1747?-1788]), pl. 55 NOTES: The Arch of Titus was presumably erected following his death in 81AD by his successor Domitian. The Arch was restored by Giuseppe Valadier in 1821 after all encroaching modern buildings had been demolished.
