NOTES: In 1801 both John Nash and Humphry Repton with his eldest son, John Adey Repton, presented rival designs to Magdalen College, Oxford, for a new quadrangle. Perhaps these details were drawn around the time of the preparation of those schemes. This drawing is in a sketchbook compiled by George Stanley Repton (1798 to circa 1805) while working in the office of John Nash.
