NOTES: No. 20 was a Robert Adam town house of 1771-4, of which the facade was extended by Mewes & Davis in 1936 to include the rebuilt no. 21. A mansard and attic storey were also added. No. 21 was originally built in 1794 by Robert Furze Brettingham but was demolished in 1934 to make way for the rebuilding.
