NOTES: The terraced garden was designed by Barry and built between 1844 and 1851. The planting scheme was possibly by William Andrews Nesfield. From the 'Large Atlas Folio: Gothic and Italian', a volume of tracings of office drawings made by James Murray during the time he worked in Barry's office, 1839-1847.
