Design for alterations to the Royal Mews, Charing Cross, London: plan for the enlargement of the Burlington Mews to include additional stables and coach houses

NOTES: John Vardy's design indicates enlargements to be made to the Royal Mews at Charing Cross, which had previously been designed by his close associate William Kent in 1731-1733. The Mews were demolished in 1830 to make way for the construction of Trafalgar Square.
