NOTES: Bayons Manor was a small 17th century building which was greatly extended for Sir Charles Tennyson (after 1835, Tennyson d'Eyncourt) by William Adams Nicholson in collaboration with Anthony Salvin. It was demolished in 1965. Sir Charles Tennyson was the uncle of Alfred, Lord Tennyson, and the father of the artist of this print.
