Arts Barn, University of Bath, Bath

NOTES: In 1978 Peter Smithson was appointed part-time Professor of Architecture at the University of Bath. In 1980 the Smithsons were commissioned to design two new arts buildings for the University campus. The first called the Second Arts Building was completed in 1981. The second called the Arts Barn seen here, was completed in 1990. See RIBA146122 for a black and white version of this image.
